Joan Clarke’s Penny Went WB and BOW and BOS (I think her name is Penny).
Carol Scott’s Sturgis got an Award of Merit.

In a remarkable beginning to a show career, Hammer’s first time in the show ring was the CATC (California Airedale Terrier Club) Specialty weekend where he won Winners Dog and Best of Winners all three days he was shown and on Thursday (his debut show) he also went BOB. Hammers 2nd weekend of shows was the 3-speciality cluster in New Jersey which included the ATCA Floating Speciality where he took Best of Breed two of the three days (winning the ATCA Bowl on Saturday.) His third time to shoiw was at the Pennsylvania Speciality where he took the Breed and won a 1st place in the group. Texans at the First-Ever Week of the Airedale
The ATCA Week of the Airedale celebrated the versatility of the Airedale at Purina Farms in Eureka Ohio March 29th - April 6th, 2003 with hunting and working trials, obedience trials, agility trials, parade of rescues, costume contest (for the Airedales), fun and games for all Airedales, and conformation matches, along with several banquets, auctions, and lots of good old-fashioned hospitality. Many Texas Airedale people attended the event, some with, some without, their dogs. Click here to see photos from the event.

Harley (CH Tartan Scottshire Ultraglide) was bred by LSATC members Joan and Bill Clarke, Carol Scott, and E. Forbes Gordon, and is owned by LSATC members Carol Scott and E. Forbes Gordon along with L. Buonaro and R & J Mara. Harley went Best in Show at Montgomery 2002. Harley’s great-great-great grandfather, True Grit, was the last Airedale to win this honor in 1981. |
